So yea. My b-day's coming up. June 5th Thought it'd be nice if I gave you strong hints on what I'd like to receive at the moment.

My favorite color is blue. Yes blue in all, er..., most of it's glory. Baby blue doesn't really work w/ me for some reason.
Love the Peanuts. Snoopy, good fun.
Need more letters to wear. 'Specially warm weather clothes. Prefer visors over hats.
Penguins're awesome.
Huge fan of Akira Kurosawa. Prefer DVDs. Already own "The Seven Samurai" and "Yojimbo". "Rashomon" an' "Madadayo" are top priority of DVDs I need to get.

So there you have it. My own personal wishlist. Good luck on making me happy. =D But if you don't feel like goin' out of your way to hunt those down for me. Cash is always accepted. Wonder if my family'll actually get around to celebrating my b-day this year... More on that in a future post.

Spent the past year or so reflecting over my life an' tryin' to analyze what's caused me to have 2 an' a 1/2 nervous breakdowns 'fore my 20th b-day. Yes, thinking is bad. But I've come away w/ a better understanding of myself. For my friend(s) that read(s) this, consider yourself lucky. You get to delve into my mind an' see what I've come up w/. Sorta therapeutic, the main reason I do this is so I don't have to keep explaining myself over an' over again to people I decide to open up to. Just give them the link to this site. FYI: Yes, I can be lazy. Ya notice yet?

For now though, something light: the origin of "how's life?"

"How's life?" People usually don't remember my name, but they will associate those words w/ my face. Ideally. Been that way ever since I got involved in acting. I think. Also because I got tired of askin' "sup?" "how you doin'?" "wasssuuuuuuuup?" "are you talking?" stuff like that. Guess I really don't like bein' part of the conformity. I'll get into more detail on that later on. "How's life?" I'm not really looking for in-depth, deep answers from you when I ask that. If you really want to, go ahead. Quiet people make the best listeners. Just asking a broad general question that covers everything so I don't need to ask you more questions during the conversation.

Acting. Sorta tied in w/ "how's life?" To be more specific, acting in the film/television industry. Good golly. I hate that industry (future post). Best way to help you get the job: making an impression. "That how's life? guy did pretty well, let's call him back." *sigh* If only it were your talent that got you anywhere in that industry...

So yea.... typing in random thoughts, hopefully it's made sense. Gonna add to my list of "Good fun" first 'fore I pass out though.

Some people post an entry daily. Sometimes they'll post multiple entries in a given day. Most people'll post on a consistent basis. I'm not like any of these people.
